A newborn shoot typically takes place within the first 2 to 3 weeks after giving birth. During this time, the baby sleeps a lot, which is ideal for photos because they still have many uncontrolled movements in the beginning (and, of course, sleeping babies are just super cute!).
The shoot with Angela, Etienne, and their daughter Emily was scheduled a little later, which is just as adorable as a newborn shoot! Their little one was already a few months old (I believe around 3, if I remember correctly), and at this age, babies can often lift their heads when lying on their stomachs, look around with big, surprised eyes, and have more frequent smiling moments that can be captured.
Every age brings its own special photo opportunities!
